SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Clinical Team Leader assists the Program Director in the daily operations of Florida Therapy Services, Inc.’s clinical program offices, which offers Community Based Behavioral Health Services to individuals and/or families requiring assessment and intervention strategies; supervises clinical/TCM staff when needed, attends career fairs, visits local Colleges and Universities to recruit new talent, works directly with administrative office staff; works with providers regarding compliance issues, audits files when needed, and assists the program director with documentation and service delivery to ensure that client needs, program goals and contract objectives are effectively met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations via the collection of data about patients through an interview, case history, and/or observational techniques; evaluate data to identify the cause of problems and determine proper therapeutic approach or referral to other specialists, to include functional assessments.
- Promotes the company’s reputation and attractiveness to new candidates.
- Recruits and speaks with local Universities/Colleges to attract suitable candidates for positions such as Targeted Case Managers, Bachelor Level Practitioners, Master Level Therapist, and more.
- Coordinate discharge and transition of patients.
- Coordinate emergency crisis services as necessary; make immediate clinical assessments and respond accordingly to accepted crisis intervention methods and techniques; coordinate other services as appropriate.
- Act as a client advocate to coordinate required services.
- Prepare appropriate documentation to bill services by established scheduled due dates submitted by Florida Therapy Services, Inc.
- Maintain and generate necessary clinical and administrative documentation in a timely manner.
- Review client charts to ensure quality assurance and compliance with state and federal standards and regulations. Participates in agency training as required.
- Attends all scheduled supervision and internal/external meetings as required.
- Assists in the resolution of patient complaints or issues and answers patient’s questions regarding policies and procedures.
- Assists in training, monitoring, and supporting clients for the Telemedicine program.
- Communicate regularly with clinical providers and program directors regarding compliance items. Assists in supervising program staff including staff meetings and case consultations when needed. Assists with staff training and development.
- Assists in assigning cases to program staff and oversees service delivery.
- Assists in reviewing and monitoring case files for both internal and external quality assurance standards.
- Conducts clinical chart reviews, peer reviews and client satisfaction surveys as required.
- Manage provider caseloads as needed.
- Manage coordination of service delivery between providers and internal/external contracts/consumers under the supervision of Program Director. (Schools, ALF’s, DCF, Child Welfare, etc.)
- Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures. Participates in agency training as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Registered Clinical Social Worker, Registered Mental Health Counselor, or Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern preferred. Master’s degree in one of the following areas is required: Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related Human Services field. Ability to work under the supervision of Program Director.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and required automobile insurance.
- Must have an active cell phone.
- Must meet standards of Level I and Level II criminal background screening in accordance with FL Statutes (F.S.)
- 435.04 and (F.S.) 408.809.
- Must be able to work independently and effectively.
- Understand application processes of HER and Telemedicine.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
